I began racing RC cars in 1993 at FastTrak Hobbies in Tucson, AZ. My friends and I also frequented the track at SRS in Phoenix and traveled to SoCal for some serious competition. Mostly off-road racers, we spent equal time running 1/10th scale mod pan cars and 6-cell mod 1/12th on the road course. I got the racing bug so bad that I now race a vintage Porsche 911 which can be seen here. In 1995 I moved to Jackson, MS and started racing at Small Cars Unlimited (link below) and still participate there whenever possible. I am now living in central Texas and am having fun getting to know people at the various tracks. One of the biggest motivators in creating this site stemmed from my inability to hang on to my setup sheets. I'd either lose it at the track or worse, it'd become so unreadable from abuse that I couldn't use it. So, I started thinking about a way to store and house the information so it'd be readily available and not be subjected to wear and tear. Then I came up with the idea to create a database that everyone could use to not only store their setups but share information as well. And thus the site was born.
